Good for making baby food

Got the Babycook Solo a few weeks ago. It's been pretty easy to use for making purees. My little one seems to like the food. Shipping took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was fine.

Great value on the Babycook

I was looking for a good deal on a baby food maker and found the Babycook Neo during their summer sale. I got it for about 25% off, which felt like a really good saving compared to other places. It makes batch cooking so much easier, totally worth the price I paid.

Solid product, some shipping delay

I ordered the Babycook Duo and it's a very functional kitchen appliance for baby food. It handles different textures well. The product itself is great, exactly as described. However, delivery took closer to eight days instead of the five they estimated, which was a bit inconvenient as I was planning my meal prep around it. Customer service was polite when I called, but couldn't speed things up. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the item, but they could improve their shipping accuracy.

Is there a coupon for first-time buyers? Thinking of getting the high chair and it's a bit pricey.

I got a 10% off code when I signed up for their newsletter a while back. Worth a try!

Yup, definitely sign up for their emails. I think that's how I got mine too, for my first order. Just watch out, sometimes it won't stack with other sales.

does beaba ever have free shipping? i'm only getting a few small things for around 40 bucks and don't wanna pay for shipping.

N Nina Walsh 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually do free shipping if your order is over 50 euros. So you're just a little under.

Sometimes they'll have a special promo code for free shipping no minimum, but it's not super common. Keep an eye out during sales events, maybe.

Compared to Babymoov, how do the Beaba Babycooks stack up? My sister has a Babymoov food maker and it seems pretty decent.

C Cody T. 2 months ago
I've used both and personally prefer the Babycook. The steaming on it feels more consistent and it's super easy to clean. Babymoov is fine, but the Beaba just feels a bit more premium.

It's a tough one, both are good. Beaba invented the all-in-one steam and blend thing so they have more experience, but Babymoov is often a bit cheaper and still does the job well. Depends on your budget really.

hey, anyone know if the Babycook Neo is really worth the extra cash over the Solo? like, is it just a few more features or a totally different experience?

A Alex 2 months ago
I have the Neo and love it. I think it's more durable and has a glass bowl instead of plastic, which was a big selling point for me. Also the steaming is a bit more efficient.

Nah, the Solo is totally fine. Unless you're making huge batches or really care about the glass, you won't miss much. I've had my Solo for years and it's still going strong.

thinking of getting the Babycook. Are these things actually made in France, or just designed there and made in China like everything else?

L Lisa 2 months ago
i think they're mostly made in China now, even though it's a French brand. most companies do that these days for production.

Yeah, pretty sure the actual manufacturing is overseas. Quality is still good though, never had an issue with mine.
